What happens when being "capable" + "the strong one" that everyone comes to for answers or solutions becomes so central to your identity that asking for help + support (as well as letting go of control) starts to feel more risky + vulnerable than doing everything yourself?

In this episode, I’m talking about power, competence, envy, jealousy, receiving (and how hard that can be when you're always the doer or the leader) + the intimacy of letting another person FULLY see you when you don’t have all the answers ~ especially when that person is another powerful, successful woman you admire. We’ll also get into what this same dynamic can look like for powerful women in romantic relationships, too (like finding yourself with passive men who want YOU to make all the decisions, which can have you feeling like a mother raising a manchild instead of a woman in a hot, sexy, reciprocal partnership).
